GTS Module

Speed, flexibility, reliability - these are the central requirements for the software of a high-quality test system. The GT Software is optimized for fast execution and easy creation of test programs. In addition, it offers extensive functions for debugging test programs, planning test orders, the evaluation of measurement results as well as the administration and monitoring of the test system.
GTSoftware Overview
The Generic Test Builder enables the user to create their own test programs that can be executed in conjunction with the Generic Test Engine (GTengine).

With the user interface and the ready-made test methods (GTML), the user can easily create a test sequence without knowing the measurement hardware or a specific programming language.

The GTbuilder concept provides that each measurement card or each measurement can be carried out via a component concept via “drag & drop” visual objects is “assembled” and the functional parameters of the measurement methods can only be changed within the permitted range of validity.

The test program is finally converted into a binary file (.dll) using the integrated compiler. The test program created in this way is usually placed under version management by the user and can be executed at high speed directly under GTengine.
The GTengine efficiently executes the test programs created on test stations. These can consist of several test systems which, depending on the production throughput, have manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic handling of the test items. The test of multiple uses is also supported.

GTengine can manage and execute production orders. All information that is required to run the test is automatically loaded from configuration files.

During the test, GTengine controls the test stations, displays their current status, evaluates the continuously measured values and saves them in databases or test reports.

GTengine can work together with a higher-level control system (MES) in order to receive execution instructions, test orders or test programs and output test results or status messages.

Further GTengine functionalities:
  • Definition of workspaces
  • Administration of the specimen type-specific data
  • Debugging of test programs (loading, single step, repetition, break points)
  • Continuous display of the measurement data (table, graph, histogram)
  • Sliding, statistical evaluation of the test results (mean, sigma, CPK)
  • Measurement capability analysis (MFU)

GTanalyzer enables loading and displaying of test reports that have been created for the purpose of repair or to evaluate the production stability over a certain period of time.
